<p>PURPOSE: A heating method and system for controlling the inflow of air into a closed space are provided to implement uniform heating in a ladle or furnace using an oxygen-fuel burner, thereby reducing the time for completing a ladle heating cycle. CONSTITUTION: A container heating method comprises the steps of: preparing a lid structure(54) for a container(52) having a closed space(58), mounting a burner assembly(55) in the lid structure, arranging the burner assembly to provide a predetermined flame diameter, aligning the container and the lid structure so that a gap(57) is formed between the container and the lid structure, and discharging fuel and oxidant from the burner assembly in a condition of flame speed enough for controlling the inflow of air.</p> |
