<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire one image by acquiring an overlapping region of right and left images required for compositing right and left images by using a simple technique, and extracting the right and left images from the overlapping region. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a stereo image output apparatus 200 which composites a left image and right image photographed from two points of view and outputs one image. The stereo image output apparatus 200 includes: an extraction section 210 for extracting a left image component and a right image component with a center point of an overlapping region of the left image and the right image as a reference; and a compositing section 230 for compositing each of the extracted image components and outputting one image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
