<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deterioration of controllability of a first motor generator and a second motor generator by performing a processing (shoot-through) for shorting upper/lower arms of an inverter IV1 or the inverter IV2 in a structure where the inverter IV1 connected to a first motor generator, and the inverter IV2 connected to a second motor generator are connected to a high pressure battery through an impedance network. <P>SOLUTION: Periods of carriers on the inverters IV1 and IV2 are made to be the same and phases are made to be the same or opposite. Thus, periods when mutual request operation states become zero vector are synchronized.
