System and method for generating mutualised confidentiality policies for multi-user content

The method involves analyzing metadata associated with multi-user content (3), and analyzing the context of publication of the multi-user content. A privacy policy associated with each user (4) is analyzed, and a strategy for combining privacy policies of users is selected among predetermined combinations. A pooled privacy policy is generated by applying the selected strategy to the multi-user content, and the multi-user content is transformed to solve multi-user conflicts between individual privacy policies. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product for generation of a pooled privacy policy for multi-user content (2) a system for generation of a pooled privacy policy for multi-user content.
