<p>The storage (300) has a storage device in the form of a tank for storing methane-containing medium and/or hydrogen-containing medium i.e. biogas, synthesized from the methane-containing medium. The storage device is connected to a local biogas network (610) for receiving and discharging biogas, and a natural gas supply network (150) for receiving natural gas and discharging of treated biogas to the natural gas network. The storage device has a compressor for increasing density and a liquefaction device for liquefaction of a portion of media supplied to the storage device.
