PURPOSE: An immobilizer key unit is provided to reduce communication failure between an antenna coil and a transponder. CONSTITUTION: An immobilizer key unit comprises a key cylinder, an antenna coil(115), and an operation key(130). Some portion of the key cylinder is exposed outside. Key way is formed in the middle of an exposed portion. The antenna coil is coupled with the key cylinder. A transponder(135) communicated with the antenna coil is embedded in the operation key. The operation key is inserted to a key groove. The transponder is arranged in a straight line with the center(C) of the antenna coil.
