PURPOSE: A multiple interface optical network apparatus and providing method thereof are provided to rapidly transmit and receive image monitoring information using an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A multiple interface optical network unit(100) includes an uplink signal creation unit(120), a transmission and reception unit(130), a sub-communication apparatus(150), and a control unit(110). The control unit determines the operation state of the uplink communication using the transmission and reception unit. When the uplink communication is not normal, the control unit outputs an image signal to a target system using the sub-communication channel.
