PURPOSE: A closing member for pipes of a catch basin is provided to increase the fixing and sealing power of an inner packing and flange as a friction projection is fitted into a receiving groove. CONSTITUTION: A closing member for pipes of a catch basin comprises an inner packing(10), a flange(20), and fixing bolts(30). The inner packing comprises a tapered wedge portion(13) and a disc-shaped sill portion(15). The end of a connection part of an exhaust pipe(1) is inserted into the rear end of the inner packing. The flange comprises a tapered portion(23) and a connecting plate portion(25). The wedge of the inner packing is inserted into the tapered portion. The rear end of the flange is grounded to the sill of the inner packing. The fixing bolts penetrate the bolt holes(26) of the flange and the sill of the inner packing, and fix the inner packing to the flange.
