PURPOSE: A butterfly net without a necessity of preparing a collecting cage is provided to enable users to easily catch insects with big and small sizes, and to adjust the size and length of the net. CONSTITUTION: A butterfly net without a necessity of preparing a collecting cage comprises the following: a portion(10) capable of adjusting an iron wire for changing the size; a collecting net(20) for storing collected insects; and a separable portion(30) capable of being separated into three parts. A user can adjust the length of the butterfly net using a material similar to a fishing rod.
