<p>PURPOSE: A printing device, a control method thereof, and storing medium are provided to select a proper cleaning method and to clean a pressure roller of the fixing device. CONSTITUTION: In case a value of a page counter 1 is less than a 1 threshold value, a CPU(Central Processing Unit) compares a 2 threshold value with a difference value between the page counter 1 value and a page counter 2 value(S901,S902). In case the difference exceeds the 2 threshold value, the CPU determines residual quantity of K toner(S903). In case the K toner is exhausted, the CPU displays a cleaning process failure message with control of an LCD display unit of a console unit(S904). In case K toner is not exhausted, the CPU executes a first cleaning process with the control of a printer unit(S905).
