PURPOSE: A thin colorful liquid crystal film, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device are provided to apply a different electric field, thereby manufacturing thin colorful liquid crystal films of various colors. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal cell is filled with a blue phase liquid crystal material. A voltage applied to both ends of the liquid crystal cell is adjusted to show a color that the liquid crystal cell requires. A liquid crystal is fixed by irradiating an ultraviolet ray onto a portion necessary for showing the required color. A thin colorful liquid crystal film includes a mixture of conductive glass substrates, a polymerizable blue phase liquid crystal, and a photo-initiator. |
