FIELD: instrument making.SUBSTANCE: chain comprises joined links with a cross section of each link, the contour of which is arranged with ribbing, excluding in place of contact between chain links within a contour part. A part of the contour is arranged in the form of a circular arc equal to half a pitch of the chain or a radius of a curvilinear part of the chain pitch. Cross section of each link is arranged with the ratio of its vertical dimension to a horizontal dimension equal to 0.5-0.9.
