PURPOSE: A system for registering groups in a SIP(Session Initiation Protocol), apparatus, and method therefor are provided to process a registration update procedure of user terminals by transmitting one group registration update message. CONSTITUTION: A registration server(300) registers a plurality of user terminals. An AP(Access Point) apparatus(200) sets one user terminal group from the plurality of the user terminals. The AP apparatus receives registration update request messages which requests registration update from the plurality of the user terminals which belong to the user terminal group. The AP apparatus creates one group registration update request message based on the received registration update request messages. The AP apparatus transmits the created group registration update request message to the registration server.
