METHOD FOR SELECTING BREEDING BOARS BY SEXUAL FUNCTIONS

A method for selecting breeding boars by sexual functions comprises assessment of sperm production indices. Recording of sperm production indices of the boars is carried out three times: the first time two months prior to the beginning of effect of water exercises; the second time – on the 15day of water exercises for assessing concentration and activity of spermia; the third time – on the 30day of water exercises for assessing the ejaculate volume. The individuals, which in the period of adaptation to the water exercises had the value of coefficient of relative deviation of sperm production indices at a level of 0.5 and more, are selected to a breeding group.
