A method of forming an electrical overhead contact system relates to the field of power supply of vehicles, and can be used for transfer of energy to the electrical transport, including tunnels, galleries and mines. The method includes operations of mounting an electric overhead contact system from segments of contact wires. Said contact system is formed from the segments of different types of contact wires, which at installation are located with vertices of working surfaces placed in the same plane. Used contact wires relate to different types of materials and/or shapes and/or sections. The copper and/or steel-aluminum contact wires are used. The method provides reduction of consumption of material resources both at forming the contact network and repair or restoration of its separate parts. |
