DEVICE FOR PROTECTION OF DETECTION BLOCK AGAINST REFLECTED GAMMA-RAYS

摘要

A device for the protection of detection block against reflected gamma-rays arranged as a partition, wherein the partition made of high-density metal as a strip is cut to bulk of the bottom part of the body of the device by its whole thickness at section between the source of ionizing radiation and the plane of the receiving crystal of detection block, and length of the partition is made as such that in plan view its central projection completely closes in bulk of the wall the sector of pass of reflected rays from the source of ionizing radiation as the center of projection to the crystal of detection block.
