PURPOSE: An environmental cartridge unit for volatile organic compound or bad odor containing fluid treatment is provided to reduce or remove bad odor components or volatile organic compounds from the fluid. CONSTITUTION: An environmental cartridge unit is composed of multiple layers containing a photo catalytic layer(2) and an absorption layer(1). The environmental cartridge unit reduces or removes volatile organic compounds or bad odor components from fluid. The photo catalyst layer, the absorption layer, and the photo catalyst layer are successively arranged. The photocatalytic layer is either a multilayered membrane filter or a honeycomb filter. The membrane filter is coated with a photocatalyst. The honeycomb filter is coated with the photocatalyst or a photocatalyst filter filled with photocatalyst coated particulate carriers. The absorption layer is either a multilayered membrane filter or a honeycomb filter.
