PURPOSE: An electric motor and an electric vehicle including the same are provided to increase heat exchange efficiency by including a cooling unit directly combined with a stator to shorten a heat transfer path. CONSTITUTION: A stator(150) includes a stator core and a stator coil. A rotor(170) is capable of relative motion with regard to the stator. A cooling unit(180) includes a passage for cooling fluid in the inside. The cooling unit includes a cooling pipe(181) combined with the stator core. A flux barrier suppresses the change of magnetic field around the cooling pipe. A straight pipe is arranged on the stator core in the axial direction.
