PURPOSE: A control method of a fail-safe system of a MDPS(motor driven power steering) system is provided to improve steering performance and stability of a vehicle with the MDPS system. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a fail-safe system of a MDPS system is as follows: A rotation angle of a steering wheel(11) and a rotation angle of a motor(20) are detected for sensing a rotation angle of an input shaft ad an output shaft.
