PURPOSE: A steam removing apparatus is provided to minimize remaining steam by controlling the height of a discharge duct unit and an intake duct unit to locate the discharge duct unit and the intake duct unit close to a material. CONSTITUTION: A steam removing apparatus comprises a transfer roller unit(10), a descaler unit(20) which is arranged above the transfer roller unit and sprays cleaning water to the transfer roller unit, a temperature measuring unit(30) which is arranged behind the descaler unit to measure the temperature of a material(S), a discharge duct unit(40) which houses the temperature measuring unit and draws in and sprays exterior air to the transfer roller unit in order to prevent steam from flowing between the temperature measuring unit and the material, and a suction duct unit(50) which is arranged around the discharge duct unit and draws in steam.
