A method for treatment of upper limb spasticity is the method for microsurgical treatment of upper limb spasticity, which consists in that the skin incision is carried out in the area of elbow. The median nerve is isolated along the wound. Using intraoperative electrodiagnostics the branches are identified that go to the flexors of the hand and fingers. The epineurium is cut on median nerve in the longitudinal direction and subepinevrally the fascicule progress is monitored, which subsequently form the branches to the flexor muscles of the hand and fingers. The fascicules are intersected and sutured, which reduces the tone in spastic muscle groups.
