<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate with an opposite party more securely. <P>SOLUTION: A storage unit 95 stores into a nonvolatile memory a setting value for each protocol when normal connection to another node can be completed. A priority determination unit 103 determines whether or not a predetermined priority of a protocol confirmed to have abnormal connection is high. When the protocol priority is determined to be high, a setting unit 94 sets into the protocol a value stored when normal connection with the node 12 can be made.
