<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stack for a thermoacoustic apparatus and a method for manufacturing the stack for the thermoacoustic apparatus, performing self-excited vibration with a low temperature difference even at a higher frequency in association with miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: The stack 3 formed with a plurality of through holes 301a is formed by densely arranging a plurality of small diameter pipes 301 made of material having thermal conductivity not exceeding 10[W/m×K]. Thereby, since a temperature gradient is scaled (proportionally reduced) even if the length of the stack 3 is shortened, the temperature of a high-temperature heat exchanger required for achieving a critical temperature gradient is lowered. As a result, the self-excited vibration at the higher frequency, required in association with the miniaturization, is performed even with the low temperature difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
