<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage apparatus that can apply effective twisting massage to a back and/or neck of a person to be treated. <P>SOLUTION: The chair type massage apparatus includes: a base unit 20 placed on a floor surface; a seat unit 30 that is connected to the base unit 20 and on which the person is seated; a pair of right and left back frames 50, 50a that are connected to the seat 30 or the base unit 20 so as to be rocked back and forth; a backrest 40 supported between the right and left back frames 50, 50a and having a back contact surface 41 with which the back of the person is contacted; and a backrest rocking units 48, 48a that individually rock the respective pair of right and left back frames 50, 50a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
