<p>There is provided a waterborne adhesive composition comprising a vinyl polymer that comprises a) 0 to 0.4% polymerized units of carboxyl functional monomer, by weight based on the weight of said vinyl polymer, and (b) 0.1% to 10% polymerized units of sulfonic acid functional monomer, by weight based on the weight of said vinyl polymer. Also provided is a method of bonding substrates with such a composition and a bonded article made by such a method.</p> |
