<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately perform fitting work between connectors, with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: On the outer peripheral surface of an inner side contact 13 of both cylindrical contacts 13 and 23a which overlap each other inside and outside in a radial direction, an insertion reference surface 13c having a predetermined outer dimension D1 is so provided as to extend over a predetermined length L in axial direction. The inner peripheral surface of an outer side contact 23a, having almost identical inner dimension D2 (D2≈D1), is made to have a fitting relationship with the outer dimension D1 of the insertion reference surface 13c of the inner side contact 13. The outer side contact 23a is aligned by the insertion reference surface 13c of the inner side contact 13 for smooth insertion. The inserting work is allowed to be performed stably and accurately, with an inserting force suppressed to be small. Posture stability is improved at the time of fitting between both connectors 10 and 20.
