摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide porous body ceramics that can be stably used under a high temperature atmosphere and has a high porosity and a low thermal conductivity caused therefrom, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Porous body ceramics include a base material part composed of spinel ceramics and a porous part existing in the base material part. The porous part has at least one peak of a porous diameter distribution in the range of 10 to 365 nm and a porosity is 40 volume% or larger and 95 volume% or smaller. More preferably, the spinel ceramics are MgAl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">4</SB>. Regarding the method of manufacturing the porous body ceramics, spinel generation material includes magnesium, which is mixed in a molar ratio of 0.66 or more in terms of magnesia with respect to 1 mol of hydraulic alumina in terms of alumina. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
