PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable light emitting device and a highly safe lighting device or a highly safe display device which does not have an exposed electrode and has high layout flexibility, and to provide a light emitting system or a display system to which the light emitting device or the display device is applicable.

SOLUTION: An electrode for power reception and a rectifier circuit are provided in a light emitting device to which an organic EL element is applied and are disposed so as to face an electrode for power transmission. The structure supplies alternating current power to the light emitting device. The alternating current power is rectified by the rectifier circuit to a direct current power, and the organic EL element in the light emitting device may be driven by the direct current power.
