The generator (1) has a heating surface pipe (2) arranged in meander form. A free cross section of the heating surface pipe is increased in flow direction of a medium to be evaporated i.e. thermal oil. The free cross-section of the heating surface pipe is changed due to reduction of wall thickness of the heating surface pipe and magnification range of the heating surface pipe. The free cross-section of the heating surface pipe is sharply enlarged from one cross section to another cross section.
