The arm (100) has a contact carrier (200) provided with a contact piece (300) that is positively fastened on a pad (210), where the contact piece is soldered on the contact carrier. The contact carrier and the contact piece are swingable around a pivot point (500) between a position to open an electric circuit and another position to close the electric circuit. A contact surface comprises an uneven profile or T-shaped profile between the contact piece and the pad. The contact piece is positively pushed into the pad in a direction perpendicular to a pivot direction of the arm. An independent claim is also included for a device comprising a fixed contact.
