Provided are an air vent structure for a container and a water server using the same with which the time until the inside of the container reaches an airless state is greatly shortened and energy saving needs are met. This water server (1) comprises an air vent structure consisting of a bag body (4) containing drinking water that allows the drinking water to be sent to a cold-water tank (5) installed under the bag body (4). The air vent structure comprises a drainage tube (51) which discharges the drinking water in the cold-water tank (5) from a location near the bottom of the cold-water tank (5), and an exhaust tube (53) which discharges the air in the cold-water tank (5) from a location near the top part of the cold-water tank (5). A Venturi tube (52) is provided as a connection unit that connects the exhaust tube (53) to the drainage tube (51) at a lower position than the bottom of the cold-water tank (5). An orifice (54) as a restriction unit is provided in the exhaust tube (53).
