A locating beam and a robot linear motion unit with the same are disclosed, wherein the locating beam has a first supporting beam (11), a second supporting beam (12) parallel to each other, and crossbeams (13) connected between the first supporting beam (11) and the second supporting beam (12) and vertical to the beams (11, 12). The joints of the crossbeam (13) and the beams (11, 12) are provided with right-angle connecting components (15). A robot linear motion unit includes motion tracks and a transmission mechanism arranged along the extending direction of the motion tracks, and the motion tracks are arranged on the surface of the locating beam. The invention effectively improves the mechanical structure strength of the locating beam, reduces the bending deformation and twisting deformation of the locating beam, and improves the shock resistance of the robot linear motion unit.
