<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that is arranged so as to connect an outer casing portion with a water tank portion using a connecting component and facilitates improvement in productivity and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises an outer casing portion having an opening, a water tank part provided inside the outer casing part, and a connecting component formed of an elastic material and having a substantially-cylindrical shape, for connecting the outer casing part with the water tank part by fixing one end side of the component to the outer casing part and fixing the other end side thereof to the water tank part so that the opening is conducted to the inside of the water tank part inside the substantially-cylindrical shape. The connecting component is pressed to an object to be connected as one of the outer casing part and the water tank part over its entire circumference to be thereby fixed to the object to be connected. In a portion subjected to the pressing, the component has projected portions formed so as to be projected in a direction of the pressing, and the projected portions are maintained in an elastically-deformed state and in contact with the object to be connected, by force of the pressing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
