<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating solidification accelerator for road marking capable of accelerating the solidification of a coating film composed of an aqueous coating and firmly solidifying the coating film when road marking is made using the aqueous coating; and to provide a method for forming a road marking (coating film) excellent in water resistance by using the solidification accelerator, and a coating kit, and a coating apparatus of the solidification accelerator. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous coating fixing accelerator for road marking contains particles of calcium acetate or particles of magnesium acetate, wherein the content of the particles of calcium acetate or particles of magnesium acetate is ≥10 mass%.
