<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot formed to have a more compact shape while maintaining a necessary function. <P>SOLUTION: The robot comprises: arms 3, 4; a frame member constituting skeletons of the arms 3, 4; an actuator connected to the frame member so as to enable power transmission and turning the frame member; and a turning restriction means restricting the turning of the frame member such that an angle α between the longitudinal direction of the frame member and the gravity direction becomes 90° or smaller at a connection portion between the frame member and the actuator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
