<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation method and an image generation system of a scanner including multiple image sensors. <P>SOLUTION: The image generation method of the scanner including multiple image sensors comprises the steps of: forming a reference design on a glass plate of the scanner including the multiple image sensors; acquiring a sub image generated by scanning a part of an original through the glass plate by each image sensor, the sub image including an image of the reference design of one part of the glass plate; and restoring a complete image of the original by folding all the sub images together with the image of the reference design of one part included in each sub image as a reference position.
