The invention relates to a solar panel (1) which comprises at least a) a support layer (2) and, arranged one on top of the other, a first intermediate layer (3), at least one solar cell (4), a second intermediate layer (5) and a front pane (6), b) a first edge reinforcing layer (7.1) and a second edge reinforcing layer (7.2), at least one terminal housing (20) and at least two collecting conductors (21.1, 21.2) which connect the solar cell (4) to the terminal housing (20) in an electrically conducting manner. The support layer (2) has a portion (13) that projects over the periphery of the front pane (6). The first edge reinforcing layer (7.1) is arranged above the peripheral projection (13) and has a cut-out section (16). The second edge reinforcing layer (7.2) is arranged above the first edge reinforcing layer (7.1) and has an opening (17). The collecting conductor (21.1, 21.2) is located in the cut-out section (16) and in the opening (17). |
