#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus (30) has a coil arrangement (46) designed to drive a rotor (48) by magnetic field, where the rotor is supported at a shaft (38) in a torque-proof manner and designed as a permanent magnetically excited rotor. Another rotor (54) is supported at the shaft in axial direction offset to the former rotor and drivable by another magnetic field of another coil arrangement (52). The latter rotor and the latter coil arrangement together form an asynchronous motor or a reluctance motor. A stator, the two coil arrangements and the rotors are accommodated in a common housing (36). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electrical drive apparatus for use in a drivetrain (claimed) i.e. hybrid drivetrain, for driving a motor vehicle e.g. electric car and hybrid car. Can also be used for an industrial drive. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The rotor is supported at the shaft in the axial direction offset to the other rotor and drivable by the magnetic field of the coil arrangement, thus enabling the individual rotors to be operated in an optimum state and realizing a partial load operation by shutdown of separately designed drive apparatuses using simple components, and hence achieving that the drive apparatus realizes different drive states with different rotational torques or rotation speeds with optimum efficiency.
