MULTI-PART TOKEN COIN HAVING A CORE MADE OF PLASTIC

The multi-part token coin comprises an outer metal ring and a disc-shaped core made of plastic, wherein the components of the token coin are pressed together in positive and non-positive engagement. According to the invention the plastic core is assembled in a sandwich construction from plastic-based films firmly joined together to form a multi-layer laminate (2) and includes visually identifiable security features. The laminate consists of a core film (6), a printing film (3), a hologram film (4) and a cover film (3). The multi-part token coin ensures high variability in the design of the visual features and high security in the visual recognition of the nominal value even in unfavourable lighting conditions.
