<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that can achieve downsizing and the cost reduction of the device by opening and shutting an atmosphere open valve that can open the inside of the cap in the atmosphere without needing a special actuator. <P>SOLUTION: A slide frame 105A in which a suction recovery apparatus 105 with a cap is mounted is moved to an arrow C1 direction through an elastic body 902, a connection plate 901 and a belt 203. The cap is stopped by the cap position by the suction recovery apparatus 105 touching a block 903.
