<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which has excellent heat resistance and excellent optical transparency, is excellent in surface sliding property and is free of trouble in manufacture, to provide a polarizing plate which uses the optical film and is less in appearance defects, and to provide a high-quality image display device which uses the polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: An optical film contains a resin component essentially comprising a (meth)acrylic resin and lubricant by 0.1 to 1.5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the resin component, where the lubricant is 12-hydroxy stearic acid metal salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
