<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management method and a power management system that improve energy efficiency by reducing the number of started generators. <P>SOLUTION: The power management system includes a power monitoring section 4 for monitoring power usages of generators 3, and an accessory control section 5 for controlling the start and stop of accessories 2. The accessory control section 5 determines an allowable power ΔP to an upper output limit value of an operating generator 3a in operation out of the generators 3 according to output values of the power monitoring section 4, compares a power consumption W of a target accessory 2a to be started out of the accessories 2 with the allowable power ΔP, and if the power consumption W exceeds the allowable power ΔP, starts the target accessory 2 after stopping an operating accessory 2b in operation out of the accessories 2 to bring the allowable power ΔP above the power consumption W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
