<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for a toner served as a production of a toner excellent in fixability. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin for a toner includes: a repeating unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid component; and a repeating unit derived from a dialcohol component represented by Formula (1), wherein an SP value is 9.1 to 9.7. In the Formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; L<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, L<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and L<SP POS="POST">3</SP>each independently represent a divalent linking group selected from the group consisting of a carbonyl group, an ester group, an ether group, a sulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted chained alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group, and a combination thereof; L<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and L<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or L<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and L<SP POS="POST">3</SP>optionally form a ring; and A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and A<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each independently represent a rosin ester group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
