<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate for achieving a passage guide display part which can be easily discriminated and visually recognized by color vision defectives. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic ticket gate having a two-way or one-way ticket gate passage 11 includes a passage guide display part 12 for performing the electrical selection and emission display of either one of, for example, a green entry-allowed symbol 12A or, for example, a red no-entry-allowed symbol 12B according to conditions on the entrance side end face of ticket gate bodies 10A and 10B.
