PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially increase an amount of rubbish which can be accommodated in a punch-rubbish box without making an apparatus intricate to extend a cycle of dumping the rubbish for a user.

SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a punch unit 1320 that moves a punch blade 209 in a direction crossing a conveyance direction of a sheet and carries out perforation processing on the sheet; the punch-rubbish box 203 that accommodates rubbish which is flown to a direction where the punch blade 209 moves when a hole is punched on the sheet by the punch blade 209; a rubbish detection sensor 302 that detects the rubbish in the punch-rubbish box 203; a punch motor 212 for actuating the punch blade 209; and a finisher control part 856 that controls a drive of the punch motor 212. The finisher control part 856 changes a moving speed of the punch blade 209 to a moving speed for accommodating the rubbish on a different position in the punch-rubbish box 203 in accordance with perforation times of the sheet by the punch blade 209.
