A method for calling an application module and a mobile terminal are provided in the present invention, which can call an application module fleetly during text editing. The method comprises that: during the text editing, the mobile terminal detects an identifier which is used for calling an application, then determines the conditions for calling the module of the application are satisfied, and calls the module of the application. The conditions include receiving an instruction for user affirming the application calling. The mobile terminal includes a detection module, a condition determination module and a calling module. The embodiments of the present invention, during the text inputting, call each application module instantly and fleetly, in addition, insert the final needed data into text editing place, reduce users' operation steps, improve friendliness of man-machine interaction greatly, improve the overall efficiency, speed and convenience of input, which make users' input experience upgrade dramatically. |
