GLOSSY PAPER FOR INKJET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium that has high glossiness comparable to the silver salt photograph while keeping the ink absorbency and the image sharpness of an excellent dye ink and the pigment ink, having superior scratch resistance of the glossiness surface in the glossy paper for inkjet printing.

SOLUTION: The glossy paper for inkjet recording is provided with: one or more gloss developing layers composed of mainly the porous fine pigment of 100-400 m2/g in BET specific surface area and a binder at least on one side of the paper base material; and a protective layer of the gloss developing layer composed of mainly the non-porous fine pigment and the binder on the gloss developing layer, wherein the thickness of the protective layer is 0.02-2.0 μm.
