PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a capacitor when an external power supply is interrupted.
SOLUTION: A power supply system has two types of outputs consisting of a high voltage output that outputs power from a high voltage main power supply 10 after stabilization by a capacitor 22, and a low voltage output that outputs power from the main power supply after conversion to low voltage power by a DC/DC converter 14. The DC/DC converter 14 includes: a transformer having a primary coil connected to the main power supply and having a secondary coil outputting the low voltage power; a switching element connected to the primary coil of the transformer to turn on/off a current in the primary coil; and a drive circuit for controlling on/off the switching element. When an external power supply to the DC/DC converter 14 is interrupted, the drive circuit powered by the secondary coil turns on/off the switching element to discharge the capacitor 22.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
