<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for dismantling a nuclear power generation plant building without causing extra labor or a cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: The method for dismantling a nuclear power generation plant building 1 includes: removing contaminated parts contaminated with radioactivity including a nuclear reactor body, with the building 1 and a biological shield wall 3 defined as a final boundary and a primary boundary respectively; constructing a barrier structure 5 for covering the biological shield wall 3 before starting to dismantle the biological shield wall 3 in the building 1; and performing the dismantlement of uncontaminated parts 1 that are not contaminated with the radioactivity, prior to the dismantlement of the biological shield wall 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
