<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that can easily release a steering lock at an unlocking operation while maintaining a locked state without causing the run-down of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device comprises: a lock guide hole 23 which penetrates the front side and the back side of a frame 2; a lock body 62 which is arranged so as to be movable between a locking position and a lock-release position which are defined in the lock guide hole 23, and has a tapered shape at its tip; an engagement part 62d arranged at the lock body 62; and a bottom 61g protruding toward the inside of the lock guide hole 23 at the side of the lock-release position rather than the engagement part 62d located at the locking position. When the lock body 62 falls down to the rotational direction of a steering shaft 92 in the lock guide hole 23 while being positioned in the locking position, the engagement part 62d is engaged with the bottom 61g, and the movement of the lock body 62 to the side of the lock-release position is regulated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
